Yes, I’m still alive! Surprise? Hahaha…It’s been months since my last entry. And maybe (or maybe not) you’re all wondering where the hell I am right now since I haven’t even posted my year-end thank you and my 2012 goal which I did last year. Well, my apologies. Inatake lang ng tamaditis and “doubtmares.” And I don’t really wanna go into details with the latter. Basta all I can say is, I got depress to the point that I deactivated my Maan Beltran account. I was having second thoughts if writing is really for me. Kasi feeling ko naman walang maghahanap sakin kapag tuluyan ng nawala si Maan Beltran.
Yeah, yeah, I know. I’m so full of dramas! Baka kapag nalaman ng mga friends ko ang mga nangyari ay magulat sila. Baka kuyugin pa ko and ask me kung sinapian ba ko. Siguro nga may sapi ako this past months.
But enough about my gloomy months. I’m here and I’m somewhat okay now (I hope and I guess). So what’s going on with me lately? I don’t know. Nothing much, I think. Still working my ass off day and night. Anyways, kayo na ang magdecide if it’s really “not much.” So here it is:
1. Had a simple birthday dinner with my family last Tuesday (March 13).
2. My two books entitled “Hot Intruder: Isaac, The In denial Romantico” and “The Quitter and the Persistent Lover” was released last week (March 6).
3. Just got an email yesterday from my editor that “A Place in Your Heart” (a sequel of Hot Intruder Isaac) has been approved. And this is my first approved manuscript for this year.
4. Attended that PHR Writers and Editors Exposure last Feb 29 at Quezon City. We watched the Thee Na Natuto concert/play thingy at PETA Theater. Nakaattend ako even if I’m from Cebu dahil nataong monthly meeting din namin sa Makati ng Feb 28.
5. Currently writing a manuscript for My Special Valentine. Yes, Jean Mae Oryza is back. And as a comeback chenes, premium ang sinusulat ko ngayon.
6. Had a talked with my editor about a possible series. For revision ang nakuha ko sa Book 1 na pinasa ko. Hindi ko pa alam kung magiging series pa siya. I still need to get an approval from the Editor in Chief about it. Will revise my manuscript as soon as I’m done with my current.
7. As of this writing, I have 7 Works in Progress. A new Hot Intruder, sequel ng “The Quitter and the Persistent” (two books), two books again na sequel ng “The Right Mr. G” which will be release soon, Book 1 and Book 2 of my would-be series (crossfingers on this. Sana maaprove ang concept!).
8. Already planned my travel for this year. Baguio and Sagada! Baguio will be a family trip and Sagada is well, barkada trip with Ayin and Jaki. Had my tickets already! Savings na lang ang kulang. Sana matuloy! (Crossfingers on this) I’m also planning to have my Bangkok trip this year, but I guess malabo na siya. Wala akong makakasama eh. Sadness.
9. Planning to change my blog template. Pero tinatamad pa ko so please bear with this muna. I’ll fix it this weekend.
10. And the rest of the days? Well, I’m playing an ordinary office girl.
